Elorrio, January 28, 2026.- EROSKI and Garaia Technology Park have formalized a collaboration agreement aimed at promoting social impact initiatives in the local environment, in line with the values shared by both organizations as members of the MONDRAGON Corporation.

The agreement strengthens cooperation between both entities and is reflected in various actions, including a program of events organized by the park throughout the year, linked to areas such as sustainability, health, and commitment to the community, with special attention to the role of technological innovation as a tool for advancing equality and social cohesion.

Within this framework, the collaboration places special emphasis on promoting female talent in scientific and technological fields, with EROSKI participating in events such as the International Day of Women and Girls in Science and International Women’s Day, as well as other social, outreach, and business gatherings promoted by the park, such as Euskararen Eguna and the park’s Gabon Jaia celebration.

The signing ceremony was attended by Irune Mateo, Head of Institutional Relations at EROSKI, and Idurre Albizu, Director of Business Development and Communication at Garaia Technology Park. “At EROSKI, we understand collaboration as a key tool to generate positive impact in our environment. This agreement with Garaia Technology Park reinforces our commitment to initiatives that promote equality, culture, and social cohesion, in line with the cooperative values we share within MONDRAGON,” stated the EROSKI representative during the event.

For her part, Idurre Albizu highlighted that for the park, “Collaboration is fundamental in our working model because it brings together strengths and enriches our vision from a new perspective. In this case, it also allows us to bring closer a large company like EROSKI, with an even deeper and more lasting commitment to the work developed by Garaia Technology Park.”

This collaboration is part of the MONDRAGON cooperative model, based on intercooperation, territorial roots, and shared value creation, and reinforces the commitment of both EROSKI and Garaia Technology Park to the social and economic development of their immediate environment.
