EROSKI has launched its new corporate website (https://corporativo.eroski.es/en/) to deliver a more accessible, user-friendly and informative digital experience for all its stakeholders. The new platform represents a comprehensive overhaul of the cooperative’s digital presence, in both design and content architecture, making corporate information easier to access while providing a broader view of the organisation’s activities.
The new website has been designed as a central point of reference for employees, suppliers, franchisees, the media, investors, institutions and society as a whole. Its new architecture provides simpler, more intuitive access to information about the company’s operations, cooperative model, strategy, financial results, sustainability, innovation, and key corporate commitments.
This redesign has involved a comprehensive review of EROSKI’s digital experience, addressing both design and content architecture to provide more intuitive navigation and better meet the needs of its diverse stakeholder groups. The new platform offers a clearer, better-organised overview of the cooperative’s activities, improving access to corporate information and enhancing transparency.
“Our new corporate website reinforces our commitment to clear, accessible and transparent communication for all our stakeholders. We want it to be a space where people can gain a better understanding of who we are, how we work and how, through our cooperative model, we create value for society and the communities we serve, by clearly sharing the commitments, projects and values that guide everything we do,” said Asun Bastida, Director of Corporate Communications and Institutional Relations at EROSKI.
A more accessible, multilingual and people-centred digital experience
The new corporate website incorporates significant functional improvements designed to optimise navigation and make information easier to access from any device.
Among its key new features is the ability to access content in five languages—Spanish, Basque, Catalan, Galician and English—using artificial intelligence-based tools that streamline both translation and content updates.
The platform has also been developed to comply with WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility standards, reinforcing EROSKI’s commitment to inclusive communication and ensuring that everyone can browse and access its content easily, intuitively and clearly.
The redesign has also enabled the information architecture to be reorganised and prioritised, providing clearer and more efficient navigation. Improvements include an optimised mobile experience and a document search facility that makes corporate information quicker and easier to find. The new structure also includes dedicated sections covering the cooperative model, sustainability, innovation, corporate news, investor information, careers, and resources for the media and other stakeholder groups.
The new corporate website has been developed by GUREAK Datapost, a division of the social economy business group with which EROSKI has maintained a longstanding partnership since 2015 to promote the social and labour inclusion of people with disabilities. This collaboration encompasses a range of shared initiatives, including training and employment inclusion programmes, as well as the operation of EROSKI City supermarkets staffed by people with disabilities.
The new platform has been designed to evolve continuously, with new content and features introduced progressively to meet the needs of its diverse audiences and further strengthen EROSKI’s ability to showcase its activities and value proposition in a clear and accessible manner.
