EROSKI opens a new franchised supermarket in Alzira, Valencia.

- The new EROSKI/City offers a full grocery service with manufacturer brands, a quality own brand, and more than 4,500 product references.
Valencia, January 29, 2026.- EROSKI has opened a new supermarket at number 70 Doctor Ferran Street in Alzira (Valencia). The store, operating under the EROSKI/City brand, offers personalized customer service, a strong commitment to local and seasonal fresh products with more than 400 references, the promotion of healthy eating, and new ways to save on everyday shopping. The store employs a team of 5 people.
The new supermarket features a wide assortment of products from leading manufacturer brands, private-label products, and local producers across its 300 square meters of sales area. It also offers an extensive selection of fresh foods, especially seasonal local fruits and vegetables, while healthy options are increasingly prominent with a broad range of organic products. In addition, the store provides freshly baked bakery and pastry items to ensure maximum freshness for customers.
Offers and promotions will be launched every month to help consumers save. A key part of this savings strategy is the EROSKI Club, the loyalty program for customer-members, which offers attractive promotions along with all the benefits of the Travel Club program. More than 113,000 consumers are already EROSKI Club members in the Valencian Community.
Awarded in prestigious competitions
EROSKI received the award for Best Franchise in the ‘Supermarket Franchises’ category at the ‘Commerce of the Year 2025-2026’ awards. These recognitions are granted by consumers themselves in Spain’s largest consumer competition and one of the most important market research studies in the retail sector.
EROSKI has also received the “Franchise with the Best Track Record” award in the 2024 edition held at the FrankiNorte trade fair in Vitoria, awarded by the Spanish Franchise Association (AEF).
Likewise, one of EROSKI’s franchisees was recognized as ‘Franchisee of the Year’ in the food category, also by the AEF. This award highlights their daily work and how they embody the values with which EROSKI approaches franchising, reflecting the effort in ongoing training and support provided to franchisees. These differentiating values are successfully transferred across the entire network, backed by a solid marketing plan for EROSKI franchises.
Collaboration agreements
The cooperative maintains its collaboration agreement with the Spanish Confederation of Young Entrepreneurs Associations (CEAJE) to support and promote entrepreneurship among young business owners and self-employed professionals. In addition to reinforcing its commitment to entrepreneurs, EROSKI seeks to contribute to the development of the local economy in the different autonomous communities.
