2025

COMPESOST project

In line with the work developed in the MONSOS project, COMPESOST he has focused his efforts on strengthen and accelerate key capabilities to allow the cooperatives not only comply with the new regulatory frameworks on sustainability, But also manage their communication in this area strategically and coherently, In line with the values and identity of each organization.

Funded by the Ministry of Labour and Social Economy through the PERTE of Social Economy and Care, COMPESOST is part of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR), co-financed with NextGeneratorEU funds. This support has made it possible to develop an ambitious intervention, focusing on applied training, strengthening strategic capacities and generation of transferable knowledge for the whole sector.

The project brings together different cooperatives of the MONDRAGON Group together with research entities, in an exercise of intercooperation aimed at promoting sustainable transformation and reinforcing the positive impact of the cooperative model on the territory and society.

2024 – 2025

MONSOS project

The MONSOS project on the Promotion of Sustainable Transformation Strategies of MONDRAGON companies, represents the contribution of MONDRAGON and its cooperatives to the construction of a more sustainable world, economically, socially and environmentally.

The project MONSOS, Represents the finding of the bet and the firm commitment of MONDRAGON and its cooperatives, To major global challenges, such as climate change or inequality, which require immediate action so as not to jeopardize our future, or that of the next generations.

10 Cooperatives (Embega, Eroski, Mundukide, Ausolan, Ategi, MIK, Oiarso-Bexen Medical, Mondragon S. Coop., Fagor Automation and Mondragon Medical Components, Mondragon S. Coop., Fagor Automation and Mondragon Components) have agreed to the aid to develop actions between February 2024 and June 2025. The main objective is to develop diagnoses and balance sheets on the environmental, social and gender situation; as well as to develop methodologies and solutions for the improvement of environmental, social and gender conditions.

The total investment of the project amounts to € 4,429,203.63, of which the Integral Plan to Boost the Social Economy for the Generation of an Economic, Inclusive and Sustainable Fabric, supports a financing of € 1,492,249.94.

2023

Through the call for the Comprehensive Plan to Boost the Social Economy for the generation of an economic, inclusive and sustainable fabric within the framework of the Strategic Projects for Economic Recovery and Transformation (PERTE), the project SUSTAINABLE MONDRAGON it represents the contribution of the Corporation and its cooperatives to these challenges, in pursuit of the construction of a more sustainable world, economically, socially, and environmentally.

9 Cooperatives (Embega, Eroski, Mundukide, Ausolan, Ecenarro, Ategi, MIK, Osatu, Mondragon S. Coop.) they have agreed to the aid to develop actions between February 2023 to February 2024 in two ways:

  • Preparation of diagnoses and balance sheets on the environmental, social and gender situation.
  • Development of methodologies and solutions to improve environmental, social and gender conditions.

The total investment of the project amounts to 3,290,648€ of which the PERTE MONDRAGON Sustainable supports a funding of 968,058.97€.

Through the convocation of the Integral Plan to Boost the Social Economy for the generation of an economic, inclusive and sustainable fabric within the framework of the Strategic Projects for the project MONDRAGON DIGITAL is destined to the Promotion of the Digital Transformation and the Modernization of the cooperatives.

Through joint technological and educational intercooperation, actions are being developed in topics such as generative AI, Data Platforms and Big Data Industrial, digital twin, cybersecurity, digital client, intralogistics, automatic process robotization, business solutions (ERP, MES, CRM, etc. ).
In PERTE 1, which includes the performances between February 2023 and October 2024, we have a group with 11 cooperatives: Krean, Sareteknika, Auzo-lagun, MccGraphics, Urola, Ecenarro, Abantail, Loramendi, Osatu-Bexen, M.LinguaAlecop and Eroski. The budget of this group amounts to almost 9 million and the Perte contributes an aid of 938,190€

In PERTE 2, which starts in February 2024 and will end in June 2025, we have 4 clusters with a total budget of 16.5 million and an estimated Perte aid of 4.3 million €.
