SECUREPACK, sustainable packaging to increase the shelf life of minced meat and rabbit

Currently, there are recyclable trays and films for the packaging of rabbit and minced meat. However, for this packaging to be 100% recyclable it is necessary to obtain a sealing material that not only maintains the current properties of plastic packaging, but also increases the storage times and properties of meat. Therefore, this project aims to obtain a more sustainable packaging system based on 100% recyclable and recycled materials that allow an integral seal between the tray and the lid for rabbit and minced meat products
The overall objective of the SECURE PACK project is to develop an environmentally more sustainable packaging system based on 100% recyclable and recycled packaging materials that allow an integral seal between the tray and the lid for meat products (rabbit and minced meat).
