JakiZU! it is the new open innovation project that EROSKI promotes together with CodeSyntax and ACEDE – H-Enea Living Lab to make food sustainability available to all citizens. Funded by the Etorkizuna Eraikiz – Misioak 2024 program of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa, JakiZU! it was born with a clear objective: to help consumers make more responsible purchasing decisions through a gamified digital platform.

What does it consist of?

It consists of an interactive platform that simulates the experience of filling the shopping cart. Each time the user chooses a product, the tool immediately shows the environmental and social impact of that choice, and proposes alternatives to improve it. Challenges, badges and rewards transform learning into a game that motivates you to keep moving towards more sustainable habits. It has been designed with the collaboration of consumers, experts and local agents to ensure that the solutions respond to the real needs of Gipuzkoa and can be replicated in other areas.

At EROSKI we have been working for years with our 10 Commitments for Health and Sustainability, and especially with the “Favor a responsible consumption”, which drives us to reduce our environmental impact, support the local product and provide the client with clear information for conscious decisions.
