2022 at a glance
We raised more than 560,000 euros for humanitarian aid
Emergency humanitarian aid campaign for people affected by the war in Ukraine, channelled through UNICEF.
We support agri-food producers
We have developed a new tool for agri-food producers to assess their practices according to ESG criteria.
We improve animal welfare standards
We joined the European Chicken Commitment (ECC) for own-brand products.
Promotion of the agri-food industry
We signed a collaboration agreement with the Basque Government to strengthen and develop the local agri-food industry.
A new phase for Caprabo
At Caprabo we designed the campaign ‘Benvinguda la vida’, starring young women.
First 100% electric truck
Our first 100% electric delivery truck is put on the road in Pamplona.
New leadership
Rosa Carabel becomes the CEO, the first female director, of EROSKI.
EROSKI Azoka, the first marketplace for small producers
Platform aimed at small producers in the Basque Country to market their products online.
EROSKI multiple-award winner
We received three awards in the categories ‘online trade’, ‘local supermarkets’ and ‘franchises’.
New environmental label
We are the first retailer in Spain to implement new environmental labelling on own-brand products.
600 franchised stores
We now have 600 franchised shops, half of which have been launched in the last five years.
Suma Ahorro: Christmas Campaign
We launched the Christmas campaign based on enabling customers to make savings, with several products at prices from last Christmas.
New hypermarket in Galicia
We opened a new Velgalsa-EROSKI hypermarket in the newly opened Nasas Nigrán retail park.
